Introduction

About the 1982 Bayliner 3270 Explorer

The Bayliner 3270 Explorer was a predecessor to the 3388 and has all of the most popular features. Two separate cabins and raised seating with wrap-around windows make it feel like a larger boat. This one comes with the most sought-after additions like a hard top over the cockpit and full canvas enclosures on the cockpit as well as the flybridge.

Virtually rebuilt from the stringers up in 2010, this Bayliner 3270 has very little that’s original beyond its extremely popular hull and layout. The current owner’s father spent hundreds of thousands of dollars upgrading this boat. To start with, the hull thickness was increased and the stringers were replaced. From there everything from new tanks, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, and bulkheads to new engines were installed.

This vessel has been boathouse kept and the boathouse is available for purchase with the boat and has assumable moorage at Goldstream Marina outside of Victoria.

Features

Accomodation and Galley

This very popular layout has a cabin forward with V-berth and storage. The aft cabin has a king-sized berth as well as a vanity sink and storage. The two-cabin layout offers lots of privacy.

There is a head forward that has a sit-down shower space and a new electric toilet.

  • New batteries in 2023 2X 12V starter batteries and 4 X 6V House batteries

Engines

New Volvo Penta D3-160 diesel engines were installed in 2010. These are performance-oriented diesels with a great combination of lightweight and power. The engine room is spacious and clean with easy access for maintenance.

New Volvo Penta 2.14 Stern Drives and transom assemblies were installed in 2019.
