Step off the dock, onto the swim grid, and through a transom door into the cockpit. To port are stairs to the flybridge, to starboard are stairs down to the master stateroom. The bed in the stateroom can be accessed from either side, and there are plenty of drawers and lockers. Aft is a changing bench below a sliding glass patio door, looking into the cockpit. To the starboard is an ensuite with a standalone shower, deep basin, and electric flush toilet. From the stateroom, you can go forward into the saloon, or you can return to the cockpit and up the stairs to the glass-enclosed sunroom.

Here, you will find a full-function bar with a fridge, icemaker, and sink, the perfect place to relax with a sundowner. There are two plexiglass wing doors to access side decks to bow, and there are 3 steps leading up to the flybridge.

The flybridge is fully enclosed by glass windows, with side vents and opening windows. There is space to walk entirely around the helm, with bench seats forward of it, and a bench seat with a raised captain’s seat aft of it. The panel is clean, and chock-a-block full of all the instrumentation you need to get from here to there safely.

Stepping back down into the saloon, to your immediate left (port) is the U-shaped galley, and to the right are the stairs to the master stateroom. Against the hull to starboard, beneath the windows, is a tallish cupboard next to a recessed TV. The saloon settee & dining seating settee are leather.

The galley is spacious and well-designed for ease of use and storage. The fridge and microwave/convection oven are aft, with the sink under the sliding window to port, then forward-facing is a long countertop with ample cupboards above and below.

Forward of the galley is a U-shaped dinette for a seating of six. Opposite on the starboard side is a long settee. These seats are plush leather and light in colour, making for a bright and rich-feeling room where you will be delighted to dine and chill.

There is a staircase of 3 steps situated between the dinette and settee that takes you down to two more staterooms. A guest stateroom is to port with two bunkbeds, a hanging locker, and an opening porthole. The bunks can convert to a sofa making a settee for the VIP stateroom. There are three skylights built into the forward area bringing natural light into the guest stateroom, the hall, and the head.

The VIP stateroom has a queen bed with 2-sided access, ample storage, two opening portholes, a TV, and an ensuite. There is also an opening hatch for light, air, and escape. The ensuite has a soaker tub and shower (yup, that read “soaker tub”), an electric-flush toilet, and vanity with sink. From here, there is private access to both the guest stateroom and the head.

By car, Cowichan Bay is 45 minutes from Victoria, 10 minutes to Duncan and all the amenities.

Cowichan Bay is quaint, quiet and friendly with a variety of shops and restaurants. The General Store is well provisioned with a liquor store and a Canada Post outlet. The store is less than a five-minute walk from the marina.

Cowichan Bay Marina is considered the best-maintained and managed marina in the village.

The Bay itself is a hotbed for prawning and crabbing.

Whales, sea lions, otters and seals are very regular visitors.

This boat comes with liveaboard status in Cowichan Bay. This is contingent on the purchaser being apporved by the marina management.
