A Tri-Cabin layout is one of the most sought-after configurations in classic cruising, offering three distinct living areas separated by the main salon. This design provides genuine privacy for owners and guests alike—a rare feature in a vessel of this size.

 Forward Cabin: The V-berth cabin features hanging lockers outboard aft, with generous storage below the forward bench seat. An escape hatch overhead provides natural light and ventilation. This cabin comfortably accommodates two and benefits from the full 6 ft 4 in headroom that Tollycrafts are known for.

 Salon (Mid-Cabin): The bright and airy main salon is the heart of the vessel, with large windows that flood the space with natural light. The helm station is positioned port forward, followed by a sliding door to the side deck. A large L-shaped settee occupies the port aft corner—perfect for entertaining or relaxing with a book. The galley runs along the starboard hull side, keeping the cook connected to the social hub of the boat.

Aft Cabin: Accessed via steps from the salon, the enclosed aft cabin features twin XL berths on each side, offering a comfortable and private retreat. A companionway on the aft bulkhead leads to the aft deck/cockpit. This cabin configuration is highly regarded by owners for its comfort and practicality.

Between the salon and aft cabin is the head to port as well as a separate large, stainless steel lined shower stall on the centreline.

Command Bridge: The flybridge is exceptionally well laid out with a bimini top, center helm station and captain’s pedestal chair. Outboard aft are two sleeper seats, making this an ideal spot for enjoying the view while underway or at anchor.

There is also an aft deck with plenty of space for deck chairs and entertaining. There is a custom-fit outdoor carpet lining this area.

 Cockpit & Exterior: The aft deck trunk cabin provides steps leading up to the upper aft deck and command bridge. The cockpit is finished with Tufdek Heavy Duty vinyl flooring/decking over marine plywood, with mahogany trim—durable, attractive, and easy to maintain.

The domestic systems on this vessel have been thoughtfully upgraded with modern, reliable equipment while maintaining the classic charm of the Tollycraft.

Galley:

Stove: New Magic Chef 3-burner stove top with oven—well secured with a good heat shield.

Refrigerator: Norcold Tex II Model DE-704D—a reliable 12V/110V marine refrigerator keeping provisions cold whether at the dock or on the hook.

 Sinks: (2) Round stainless steel sinks with good-grade household faucets.

Storage: Plenty of dry storage areas throughout the galley.

Heating:

Dickinson Newport propane cabin heater—well secured with a good heat shield and stovepipe. Dickinson heaters are renowned for their reliability, simple operation, and cozy flame ambience. They require no electricity to run and are highly fuel-efficient.

Hot Water:

Seaward Model S-700 hot water heater—operates from shore power electric and from the starboard engine cooling water(needs to be attached), providing hot water whether at the dock or underway.

Marine Head:

 Dometic Sealand marine toilet with Sani Guard holding tank vent system.

40-gallon composite plastic holding tank with macerator pump. Never used; needs final hose clamps.

This is a modern, reliable sanitation system that meets current standards.

Shower: Custom stainless steel shower enclosure with shower sump.

The electrical system on this vessel has been completely rewired to current ABYC standards using marine-grade wiring and Blue Sea Systems panels —a significant investment that provides peace of mind and eliminates the headaches of aging boat wiring.

Reliable Anchoring System for Pacific Northwest Cruising

Anchor:

(1) Lewmar Delta 35 lb anchor—a proven, self-launching design that sets quickly and holds well in a variety of bottoms.

(1) Danforth anchor with approximately 57 ft of 5/16” galvanized chain and approximately 250 ft of braided nylon rope.

(1) Lewmar double anchor roller.

(1) Bronze chrome-plated anchor fairlead with roller.

Windlass:

(1) S/L Model 42 12V DC electric windlass—taking the effort out of anchor handling.

New 12V Lewmar Windlass is included with the sale of the boat and will provide a more modern chain and rode management system.

Twin Rebuilt GM Chevy 4-bolt V-8s with Velvet Drive Transmissions – Exceptionally Clean and Well Maintained with less than 40 hrs since being completely rebuilt.

Main Engines:

(2) 1978 General Motors Chevy 4-bolt 350-cubic-inch V-8 gasoline marine engines. The 4-bolt engines were made for heavy-duty applications.

Horsepower: 270 HP each @ 4,000 RPM.

Both engines have been completely rebuilt with all new accessories as well. The engine room and bilges are remarkably clean.

Marine Gears:

The mechanical package is robust, redundant, and has been maintained to the highest standard. The low hours on the rebuilt engines and the comprehensive replacement of key components make this vessel a remarkably reliable cruiser.

Built by Tollycraft in 1962, this is not a standard wooden hull. This vessel was built with marine-grade plywood and fibreglass sheathing and does not suffer the challenges of more traditional building methods.

Hull Above Waterline

Hull: Oak & mahogany frames, 5/8” 7‑ply marine fir plywood, fibreglass sheathing; 12 mm African mahogany plywood, fibreglass sheathing.

Deck: Oak & mahogany frames, marine plywood, teak planking with black seams.

Deck Timbers (Longitudinal & Transverse): Oak & mahogany.

Stringers (Longitudinal & Transverse): Oak & mahogany.

Ribs (Longitudinal & Transverse): Oak & mahogany.

Hull Below Waterline

Bottom: Mahogany frames, marine fir plywood, fibreglass sheathing. New antifouling.

Keel: Mahogany timbers with fabricated steel.

This boat can almost be considered fully restored, but there are a few things left to complete before she is truly ready to go cruising. The current owner may be available to provide guidance to the purchaser

1. Recaulking the forward deck. You can see where the aft side decks have been refinished. There are no screws. The teak is very thick and in great condition. The forward side decks and forward deck need to be finished. This is time-consuming but does not require any special skills. Removing caulk, sanding and re-applying caulk, as well as removing and rebedding deck fittings. There are no screws to be rebedded.

2. Attaching hoses and applying hose clamps to the holding tank. Everything is in place.

3. Installing new chartplotter. The chart plotter is on the boat.

4. Installing the new windlass if you want. The windlass is on the boat. The owner has created a template for the bow to extend the bow roller to make anchoring easier. The existing windlass is fully functional.

5. Adding new mattresses to the stern cabin. They are made for XL Twin mattresses.
