Features

Accomodation

The layout is intelligently designed for both privacy, socialising and safety.

 Salon & Inner Helm Station:

Enter the spacious, light-filled salon through stainless-steel clad doors on either port or starboard side or on the centerline from the raised sundeck.  The interior is a showcase of beautiful teak joinery, including teak and holly floors. The salon includes the lower helm station with a classic teak destroyer wheel, an expansive settee with updated upholstery, and a convertible teak table and galley breakfast bar.  Large windows provide panoramic views and abundant natural light. The settee can be converted into another bed.

The helm station is positioned right next to a large sliding door on the starboard side, providing easy access to the side deck. There are full engine controls, instruments and gauges close at hand.

Sleeping Spaces:

Forward is a comfortable guest stateroom with a V-berth offering over 6 feet of legroom and ample storage. There is a day head just aft of the forward cabin, across from the galley.

The full-beam owner’s cabin aft features a walk-around queen-size bed, impressive teak cabinetry, a vanity station, large hanging lockers, lots of drawer storage and a private head with a marble countertop and a dedicated shower stall.

Sundeck and Command Bridge

Accessed via the salon or from either side deck, the sundeck will surely be your favourite spot. This raised deck has a hard-top cover for protection from the sun and weather. It’s an exceptional outdoor living space, perfect for reading, entertaining or relaxing at anchor. There is an outdoor couch and plenty of room for additional seating. A few steps up from the sundeck, the command bridge offers excellent visibility and lots of seating. There is a full helm station with a chartplotter, VHF, and engine controls as well as an AC heater for the captain. The full canvas enclosure provides great protection for off-season journeys.  It features an L-shaped settee to port, an opposing settee to starboard, and twin helm seats that reverse to face the social area. There is lots of storage within the settees on the command bridge, and all the upholstery has been updated.

Domestic Equipment

Galley:

The galley is open to the salon and has been comprehensively upgraded with modern appliances. It features a Dickinson Mediterranean 3-burner propane oven/stove, a NovaKool refrigerator/freezer, and a Frigidaire dishwasher. The chef remains part of the conversation while preparing meals, as it is open to the salon. Being directly under the forward windows, there is lots of natural light for the cook.

Additionally, there is a Kuma stainless steel BBQ on the sundeck as well as a Koolatron wine fridge in the salon.

 Heating & Hot Water:

The entire vessel is kept warm and dry by a reliable Espar D5W SC hydronic diesel heater system. Hot water is provided by the Espar heater, as well as a 110V AC water heater with an engine heat-exchange loop, ensuring ample hot water both underway and at anchor, as well as when connected to shore power.

 Toilets:

The vessel features Par/Jabsco electric flush toilets in both heads for convenience. The system is supported by a holding tank with both deck pump-out and macerator pump overboard discharge capabilities (subject to local regulations).

Electrical

A robust and well-protected electrical system supports both cruising and life aboard.

Charging, Inverter & Batteries:

A Heart Interface Freedom 20 2000-watt inverter/100-amp charger, managed by a Heart Link 2000R monitor, powers AC needs from the batteries. House power is supplied by two banks of US Battery US2200 deep-cycle batteries (12 total, wired as two 12V banks). Each bank has 6 x US BATTERY US2200, 232 amp/hr. @ 20 hr. rating, in series.

Engine starting is handled by two new GRP 24 MS 12V batteries (July 2024). An Efoy Comfort 140 hydrogen fuel cell provides silent auxiliary charging for the electrical system.

Protection & Upgrades:

Systems are protected via circuit breakers at the main AC/DC panels. New engine hour meters were installed (May 2022), and fuel & freshwater tank senders and gauges were added (Feb 2022) for precise monitoring.

Keeping things going while cruising the boat features an Efoy Comfort 140 hydrogen fuel cell, which provides efficient, quiet auxiliary power for battery charging, extending your time at anchor without running the main engines. Hydrogen fuel cells can be thought of as a quiet generator that keeps your batteries charged without the need to run the engine, much like a regular generator. The 140 puts out approximately 140 Amp/Hrs a day,  providing approximately 6 amps at 12Volts.  The average use on a single cartridge is 3-4 weeks.

Navigation

The vessel is fitted with a solid suite of modern navigation electronics for safe coastal and offshore passage-making.

Primary Navigation: Garmin GPSMAP XSV7610 chartplotter integrating GPS, radar, and sonar.

Autopilot: Raymarine Evolution EV1 autopilot with P70Rs control head for effortless passage-making.

Communications: Icom IC-M506 VHF radio. A Glomex Webboat 4G+ coastal internet system keeps you connected.

 Main Engines:

Twin Cummins 6BT 5.9L diesel engines, each producing 215 HP at 2500 RPM. With 2,365 hours (as of last report), these renowned engines provide a comfortable cruising speed of 8 knots with exceptional fuel economy or a sprint capability of up to 16+ knots when needed.
