1997 Sea Ray 270

This is a production built Express Cruiser of fiberglass construction throughout having a raked stem, hard chine deep V-hull and transom stern with integral swim platform.  The decks comprise of a short foredeck with fiberglass bowsprit followed by the raised trunk cabin superstructure with narrow side decks leading to the canvas enclosed aft cockpit.

Below deck, there is an open forward cabin with a convertible dinette followed by a portside galley and aft cabin which extends beneath the sunbridge. Opposite the starboard is a hanging locker followed by the enclosed head compartment.  The machinery space is adjacent to the transom and accessed by a single manual hatch opening.

The vessel is equipped with a 12 VDC LOFRANS model MARLIN anchor windlass.  The vessel a stainless steel plough 15 kg primary anchor with galvanized chain and braided nylon rode.

 Fresh Water System:

Fresh water is contained in a plastic tank (28 gallons reported) installed in the engine room.  Fresh water is supplied by means of a 12 VDC SHUREFLO model AQUA KING 6.5 gpm multi-fixture pump with JABSCO accumulator pressure tank.  Hot water is provided by a 110 VAC 6 gallon hot water storage tank.  

 Grey Water Discharge:

Direct overboard. The shower compartment is discharged directly overboard via a12 VDC RULE 800 sump pump.

 Marine Sanitation Device:

The vessel is installed with SEALAND VACU-FLUSH marine sanitation device (MSD).  Discharge is accomplished by flexible sanitation hose and VACU-FLUSH tank generator which provide discharge to the 28 gallon holding tank installed in engine compartment. The holding tank can be discharged direct overboard via a 12 VDC waste pump or via the deck plate at suitably equipped marina pump-out stations.
