About the 1986 C&C 44

This powerful sailboat is fast, spacious, and well-balanced. Turicum has been to Hawaii and back many times and has enjoyed first-place division honors at the Vic Maui race. The current owners have been looking after Turicum for almost two decades and have raced, cruised, and taught on board. She has been constantly upgraded over the years to ensure the vessel is safe and reliable for offshore travel. From replacing the rod rigging multiple times, upgrading to stainless steel chainplates, and constantly upgrading sails, this boat is full of great cruising and racing features.

The C&C 44 has a large cruising interior with two cabins and two heads allowing for fantastic privacy with visitors or family. The salon has lots of space for meals and entertaining and the galley has all the amenities you need for making great meals at anchor or underway.

Features

Layout and Accommodations

The vessel interior, starting at the bow is the v-berth with storage below and beside. There is access from the v-berth to the forward head on the starboard. A hanging locker is on the port. Following is the main cabin with a settee to port and a pilot berth above. There is a center-line table with a large U-shaped settee on the starboard side that can be converted into a double berth with a pilot berth above.

Water tanks are below the two settees. To the aft is the full galley on starboard and access to the aft cabin. On port is a navigation station, an aft head, and access to the aft cabin. Centered is the ladder access up to the companionway and cockpit with engine access below. The aft cabin has a large queen berth with access from both sides so no crawling over your sleeping partner. There is plenty of storage with hanging lockers and shelves. There is also additional engine access via the aft cabin.
