2006 Formula 37 Performance Cruiser

The Formula 37 PC is designed for both entertaining and comfortable living, featuring a spacious and intelligently laid-out interior. The cabin is a haven of luxury and practicality, finished with Formula’s finest appointments. The layout provides two private sleeping areas, making it ideal for couples or families. The elegant salon and roomy cockpit create an easy indoor-outdoor living experience.

Living Areas:

Cockpit: Stepping aboard the large swim grid, you enter the aft cockpit through a port-side boarding door. There is a plush, wrap-around lounge with two removable tables that is perfect for socializing. The tables are dual height and can be lowered to create a massive sun pad. Moulded fibreglass wetbar with integrated sink, Corian® countertop, and refrigerator.

Topsides, you’ll find an elevated helm with dual seats, a portside companion lounge, and a walk-thru windshield with two lounge pads on the bow.

 Below deck, the salon features an elongated, crescent-shaped dinette lounge with Ultraleather™ sofa seating and a dual-height, high-gloss solid wood dining table. It also converts into an additional double berth for overnight guests if required.

A Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with 10-disc CD changer, subwoofer, and 920W amplification provides a great sound system to provide the appropriate soundtrack for your adventures.

Sleeping Areas:

Forward Stateroom: A private, luxurious cabin with a pedestal double berth, a large overhead hatch with screen, dual hanging lockers, and under-bed storage. There is plenty of room for extended travels.

Aft-Cabin: The aft lounge area, with a large Ultraleather lounge area that converts to a double berth, complete with a privacy drape.

This yacht is equipped with all the comforts of home, ensuring self-sufficiency and convenience during extended trips.

The galley is fully equipped with a 2-burner Kenyon electric stove and a Tappan microwave oven, making meal preparation easy. There is a Norcold AC/DC fridge as well as an additional refrigerator in the cockpit, as well as a polished stainless steel sink and Corian countertops.

Enjoy climate-controlled comfort in any season with a Dometic Thermo Cycle reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating system.

A dedicated hot water system ensures warm water for the galley, the head shower, and the transom shower.

The head features a convenient and efficient Vacu-Flush vacuum toilet system, connected to a large 57-gallon holding tank with a level monitor. There is a solid shower separator to keep the rest of the head from getting wet while showering.

A robust and well-protected electrical system ensures peace of mind and freedom from the dock.

 The vessel is powered by a bank of four batteries (2x Group 31, 2x Group 27) managed by a Victron Energy 70-amp battery charger. A dedicated battery charger maintains the bow thruster battery.

A reliable Kohler 7.3 kW genset (with only 50 hours) provides ample power for all systems when away from shore power.

The system is safeguarded with a Pro-Safe Galvanic Isolator to prevent corrosion, and master breakers with a polarity indicator at the helm.

Navigate with confidence using a well-appointed suite of quality electronics.

Chartplotter & GPS: A new Raymarine Axiom9 touchscreen multifunction display was added in 2025 and provides integrated chartplotting and GPS navigation at the helm.

Depth Sounder: A Raymarine ST60 depth sounder offers accurate readings of the water below.

VHF Radio: Communication is handled by a Standard Horizon VHF radio.

Additional Equipment: The helm also features a Ritchie compass, a deluxe wood-grain steering wheel, and Livorsi throttle/shifters for precise control.

Anchor & Chain: The vessel is equipped with a reliable plow-style anchor, connected to a sufficient length of 1/4” galvanized chain and 5/16” braided polyethylene rode.

Windlass: A powerful Lewmar windlass with controls at both the helm and the bow allows for easy raising and lowering of the anchor without heavy lifting.

The heart of this cruiser is its powerful and well-maintained propulsion system, supported by essential auxiliary equipment.

Engines: Twin Mercury 8.1L 496 MAG HO V8 gasoline engines, each producing 375 hp (750 hp combined). Crucially, both are freshwater cooled for enhanced longevity and show only 560 hours of use.

Drives & Propellers: Power is delivered through Mercury Bravo Three stern drives, turning duoprop stainless steel propellers for exceptional bite, handling, and fuel efficiency.

Generator: As noted, the Kohler 7.3 kW genset provides independent electrical power.

Bow Thruster: A Lewmar bow thruster provides unmatched maneuverability in tight marinas and docking situations.

Trim Tabs: Stainless steel trim tabs ensure an optimal running attitude in various sea conditions.

Safety Systems: The engine compartment is equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system and ventilation blowers.
